Waiopehu College Sports

Waiopehu College has a strong sporting tradition and they encourage all of their students to participate in sport whether it be competitive or socially.  They have a wide range of sports on offer where students can develop confidence, leadership and technical skills. The college believes physical activity plays a pivotal role in strengthening mental and physical well-being, fostering team spirit, and creating lifelong connections within their school and local community.

Whether competing in local competitions, regional sports exchanges, or national tournament weeks, their athletes proudly embody the Te Ara o Waiopehu values of respect, perseverance, and school pride on and off the field.
